Shakespeare: The Pub Trilogy
10 YEARS, 8 ACTORS, 3 PLAYS
Two Gentlemen of Verona, Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing
Join us for a summer Shakespeare extravaganza like no other and get ready for not one, not two, but three hilarious Shakespeare comedies at the Queen Victoria City Pub in Valletta.
Since bursting onto the scene with the beloved Shakespeare at the Pub series, WhatsTheirNames has performed everywhere from gardens to cemeteries and swimming pools.
Now, to celebrate our 10th edition, we’re going back to our roots. Prepare for new versions of the acclaimed Shakespeare at the Pub plays: Two Gentlemen of Verona, Twelfth Night and Much Ado About Nothing, in tight, fast-paced 90-minute adaptations performed by the same cast of eight actors playing multiple roles across all three plays.
Expect a whirlwind of side-splitting comedy, live music, suspiciously easy access to booze, and all the wild energy and inventiveness WhatsTheirNames is known for, all in a unique, intimate pub setting.
Directed by Philip Leone-Ganado and featuring Joseph Zammit, Sandie von Brockdorff, Tina Rizzo, Gianni Selvaggi, Becky Camilleri, Nathan Brimmer and Joe Azzopardi.
